HOW TO CLEAN THE BARIUM ENEMA SYRINGE?
- Flush bulb with water before each use.
- Push pipe into bulb
- Squeeze bulb to expel air, submerge tip in warm water or mixed enema preparation.
- Release pressure on bulb slowly to fill
- Lubricate tip
- Position:
- To use in bath tub, recline on side with knees drawn up
- To use on toilet, sit on toilet and lean forward slightly
- Gently insert pipe into rectum
- Squeeze bulb slowly to introduce solution. If cramping occurs, reduce pressure on bulb.
HOW TO STORE THE BARIUM ENEMA SYRINGE?
- Detach pipe from bulb
- Wash components with a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
- Shake rinsed components free of water and allow to air-dry thoroughly
- Store in a cool, dry place away from hot surfaces and sharp instruments.

Very good quality. I misplaced the enema bulb I had on a recent move. I wanted to again give enemas in my home. Giving enemas to my 4 yo b and 5 yo b.!! So, I purchased this 130 ml syringe (little over 4 oz).
The bulb is easy to fill up. Good quality. Easy to squeeze when giving the enema.
I refilled it with one hand.
Easy to clean. Remove nozzle. Clean with warm soapy water in kitchen sink. Rinse well. I put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the bulb. Swishing around and squirting out. Leave sitting out to air dry for few days. Never put up when wet.
